Poetry Poll
So, as those of you who are LJ friends of mine are likely aware, I'm on something of a poetry-writing kick. I'm also considering posting thoughts on poetry, as I read other people's verse, poetry handbooks, and poetry crticism. However, I know that poetry is not everyone's favorite reading passtime or discussion topic, so I thought I would check in and see if my poetry entries are of interest to you, dear readers. I can always create a poetry filter, if people prefer. Any comments on this topic are welcome. (And I promise, you won't hurt my feelings, if you prefer that I stick to fiction-related topics in this journal.) For those who just like to vote, rather than comment, here's a poll:

I enjoy knowing the initial inspirtation for your poems, but in general (and this probably applies more to fiction than poetry), I skip most writing "process" posts these days. There are just too many of them out there, and I like to preserve some mystery. I don't want to know the writer's every thought as he/she wrote each sentence. Again, though, applies more to fiction....
I find that knowing the initial inspiration for someone's work is enough for me. :-)
